GET READY FOR SPRING!

Our very own Meg Kimberlin (Srixon Rep) will be teaming up with Mike G (USGTF Instructor) this Spring for FREE club fittings at the range. We now have access to a Garmin R50 portable Launch Monitor that we will be using to aid in your personal fitting to make sure we help get your game on par.

It's not too early to be thinking about upgrading your clubs this Spring. Srixon has an incredible line for all playing levels at a fraction of the cost of other name brands,  and made with the same technology. Here is what Google AI responded to a search for a Srixon Irons Review ...

"Srixon irons, particularly the ZX5 model, are widely praised for their excellent blend of forgiveness, workability, and feel, making them a great choice for mid to low handicap golfers who want a combination of distance and shot shaping ability, with many reviewers highlighting the consistent performance and smooth turf interaction thanks to their "Tour V.T. Sole" design;.
Key points about Srixon irons:

  • Workability:
While forgiving, Srixon irons still provide enough workability for players to shape shots with some precision, particularly with the ZX7 model which is designed for more control.
  • Feel:
Many reviewers consistently mention the excellent "soft" feel of Srixon irons at impact, which is attributed to the quality of materials and construction.
  • Tour V.T. Sole:
A prominent feature of Srixon irons, the "Tour V.T. Sole" design helps the club glide through the turf smoothly, leading to better strike consistency and improved feel.
  • Forgiveness:
Srixon irons, especially the ZX5, offer a good level of forgiveness even on off-center hits due to their cavity back design and sole design, making them suitable for a range of skill levels.

Different Srixon iron models and who they might suit:

  • ZX5:
Considered the most versatile option, offering a good balance of forgiveness and workability, suitable for mid-handicap golfers looking for a consistent and playable iron set.
  • ZX7:
Designed for lower handicap golfers who prioritize precision and shot shaping with a slightly smaller profile and less forgiveness compared to the ZX5.
  • ZX4:
A more forgiving option within the ZX series, providing greater distance and a higher launch for golfers seeking maximum forgiveness."

From Our Consultant at Turfgeeks

As we prepare for the winter months, I wanted to share our plan for managing wear and tear on the tee boxes. For the winter season, we’ll only be using one set of tees—the red tees—placed in different areas across the golf course. This approach will help minimize damage to the tee boxes, ensuring they remain in better condition for the playing season. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to maintain the quality of the course.
